Implementation Update

Many of you have been asking when the changes to the Republic agreement will take effect for Mesa Flight Attendants, assuming we ratify the tentative agreement this week. After several discussions with management, we can share the following information. We still have a few more issues to work out, but this chart represents the bulk of the items.

*DOR is Date of Ratification, 1/22/26

The next chart shows the items in the Mesa agreement that will stay the same until a Flight Attendant transitions to Republic. In other words, as long as you are still working for Mesa, you will stay under the Mesa agreement for these items.

Item

Notes

Pay process/pay days

Reassignment/rescheduling

Furlough and Recall

Leave of Absence

Jury and bereavement pay will align with the Republic contract, but the eligibility and process for qualification will remain the same as has been in place at Mesa until cross over to the Republic operation.

Insurance and other benefits

Commuter policy including hotels, commuter credits, and payroll deduct

No stay/we pay

Finally, there are a few issues that we are still discussing whether they will start on DOR, require some time to program, or will not go into effect until the Flight Attendant transfers to Republic.

  • Trip rig (1 hour pay/credit for every 4.25 hours away from base)
  • Additional days off
  • Uniform allotment

We will update you when we finish resolving these issues.

Don’t forget to vote. We will not have a second chance to lock in these improvements prior to the next Section 6 negotiations.
